52nd: National Safety Day 2023 Theme : “Reducing Workplace Accidents”

 March 4th is observed as National Safety Day in India every year. This day is dedicated to promoting

awareness about safety measures and reducing the number of accidents in the workplace and in general.

National Safety Day was first observed in 1972, and it is organized by the National Safety Council of India. On this day, various programs and events are organized in schools, colleges, and workplaces across the country to promote safety awareness and educate people about the importance of taking preventive measures to avoid accidents.

This year theme for National Safety Day is - “Reducing Workplace Accidents” , and the events and activities are designed around the theme to create awareness and encourage safety practices. This day serves as a reminder to everyone to take necessary precautions to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of themselves and others.
